Dear Loyal Readers of Running for Cake,
I want to start by apologizing for being a ghost the past year. The year got off to a great start with the Disney World Marathon in January but soon after I was constantly fighting off shin splints.
While I was not able to train as much as I would have liked over the summer, I scraped together just enough training to comfortably do the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in Philadelphia this past month, and look to doing the Baltimore Half Marathon next weekend.
I am going to be sure to write a detailed race recap of the Baltimore Half Marathon along with any other races I do in the future. Also stay tuned for gear reviews covering running watches, headphones, and shoes.
